Question: I am interested in buying property at WWHOA but there are no real estate listings on this site. How can I find out which units are for sale? Answer: At this time all 106 Condos are privately owned and the Westchester Woods HOA which is represented by the Board of Directors is not involved in the sale or promotion of individual units. There are legal reasons that prevent the Board of Directors from getting involved in real estate transactions. To find out which units are for sale we suggest you contact a local real estate agent.
Question: Will you be sending the minutes by email to all homeowners? Answer: Currently we do not do that since we would have to verify that an email address really belongs to a homeowner. If a homeowner changes email service or sells his/her unit we would then have to constantly update our records to prevent sending confidential information to persons who are no longer supposed to receive them. In addition, homeowners could provide us with business email addresses which would result in confidential information being downloaded and stored on business computers at their work-place. Besides, not everyone has email access which means that some minutes would still have to be mailed to selected homeowners. It will take a substantial amount of time and effort to keep track of who needs to get the minutes by regular mail and who gets them by email.
Question: Will you post the meeting minutes and financial statements online? Answer: We have recently created a 'members-only' section for this website and we are experimenting with options on how to make certain information available to our homeowners. Updates will be provided as progress is made.
This section is still growing. If you have suggestions for FAQ's that could be posted here, please send a suggestion to the board of directors by using the 'suggestions' form on the contact us page.
