Smoke Detectors!
Although the smoke detectors throughout our complex are hard-wired to the
115V system, they still have batteries to keep them functional during
power-outages.
Those batteries will eventually drain.
For your own safety and the safety of your neighbors, please replace the
batteries in your smoke detectors frequently and do not wait until you hear a
beep indicating an empty battery. Test your smoke detectors monthly to ensure
proper function.
