Fresh Air anyone?
Cleaning Window Screens
Are your windows open yet it feels like you are not getting any fresh air?
Maybe your window screens are blocked with dust?
Over time dust will settle on the screen mesh and fill in the openings, blocking
the flow of air.
Since ventilation is important, you should clean your screens frequently.
If you can not easily remove your window screens for cleaning, open the window
and gently rub the screen with your fingers. Don’t use too much pressure and do
not use water at first.
The dust should come off easily. Use a vacuum cleaner with hose-attachment to
remove the dust as you rub it off the screen. You can then gently wipe the screen
with a water and soap solution.
After a few minutes of work you will be able to enjoy fresh air flow once again.
